Handy Dandy Little Stool

So after two months I feel like I am FINALLY adjusted to my new job and schedule - both of which I love! But I feel like I finally have the time and the motivation to work on my never ending projects. About a year ago I found this little stool at an antique/thrift store for $10.00:
It was in serious need of some TLC - with a gingham tablecloth on the seat and back, dark green paint, and some serious rust it was outdated. At first I wanted to keep the vintage feel to it and decided to take it all apart- I threw away the padding and fabric, cleaned it and spray painted the green parts a light yellow:
But I was never totally happy with it - my spray painting job was not my best and it never totally fit in with the decor in our home. So this past weekend I decided to start all over! I dissembled the stool again, removed the black matting, and took off the floral fabric. This time I opted for the Krylon Metallic paint - which would make it more universal regardless of our kitchen colors and decor. Then I went to the Hobby Lobby and found great fabric and Ta Da:
I am VERY happy with the finished product!
And so is Baby :)
